we, the sensible Indians
as when it comes
understand the dire need of hour
so with full conscience,
we give
them this power
to rule over us
a nation to
serve
we, the sensible Indians
do not react to a politically
driven act
are smart enough to not fall prey
for their hidden motives without
knowing fact
we, the sensible Indians
put humanity above all the evil-isms
put ‘we’ before ‘i’
put greater cause over minor
we can’t be fooled
goons can never play with 'nationalism'
we, the sensible Indians
keep calm!
who said - 'impulsive'
we know this showbiz game
wisely planted ideas
provocative, intolerant,
repulsive
our minds can’t be tamed
we know what they aim
through selfish manifestos
hiding shame under fame
a chair to claim
we can’t be ruled over
on same formula again
they cannot divide us
for vote bank run
we, the sensible Indians
stand together
are united and one !!
